SERVER RULES – ZA EMPIRE

 

ATTENTION TO ALL READERS:

The following rules apply to EVERYONE who plays on the ZA EMPIRE Zombie Escape v34 server. This server has Freedom of Speech, but not Freedom to Insult others.

 

All rules are based on Common Sense. If you are aware that your actions will harm or insult other players in any way, then that will be considered a violation of the rules. As long as you do NOT intend to cause harm or directly insult other players (which should always be the case while playing) you will not need to review these rules.

 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

General information regarding the agreement to the rules and other legal obligations that must be known to all players:

  1. By entering and playing on the server, you automatically agree to the rules.

 

  1. Services on the server are a voluntary donation.

 

  1. Donations go solely to the development of the project (server).

 

 

A detailed explanation of all the terms used on this document:

Administrator

A player who has administrator rights on the server.

Active

A player that is actively playing or watching the game. (Excludes A.F.K.)

Map Bugs / Glitches

These refer to unintentional mistakes upon the creation of a product. (e.g., Maps)

Cheats

Third party applications or scripts which offer a player an unfair advantage while playing on the server.

Materia/Items

These are in-game entities that offer special abilities to the player that collects them, often in the form of a weapon, located in different areas on some maps.

Identity Theft

Taking someone’s nickname and/or Steam ID in order to make everyone think you are someone else.

Personal Interests / Personal Reasons

These terms refer to the needs of an individual in a personal level, without considering the needs or wants of other people.

Server

A server in this document refers to a game server, for example the ZA EMPIRE Zombie Escape server.

Any other terms that feel unfamiliar to you (the reader) – you can always message or contact one of the members from the administration team to assist you with your queries.

 

 

OVERALL - RULES

Rules and Obligations of all Players:

  1. It is forbidden to impersonate a member of the administration by using their nickname.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Forced Change of Nickname, (3) 1 Day Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to use a broken microphone.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 30 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to deliberately and incorrectly use ITEMS*
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Forced Removal of the Item, (3) 30 Minutes Item Limit]

 

  1. It is forbidden to deliberately leave the game (either by disconnecting, restarting the game, or being AFK) when you are the only Zombie left.
    [Action: (1) An administrator will have the right to make you a zombie at the start of the next round, (2) 30 Minute Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to BunnyHop (BHOP) excessively, the maximum number of jumps in a row should be 6.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Set Player’s Gravity to 1.1 – In addition, if there is suspicion of cheating, you will be requested to share your screen with an administrator. If ignored, this will be considered a violation, resulting in a; (3) 1 Day Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to knife/push zombies towards other players in order to infect them.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 30 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden for zombies to not infect other people (unless advised by an administrator).
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 30 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden for zombies to infect other people, when an administrator has said not to infect.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 30 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to make/play disturbing sounds on the microphone which can be an inconvenience for other players.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 30 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to use map bugs or server exploits to gain an unfair advantage.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 30 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to advertise other servers or resources without the required permission from Marshal ZA (server owner).
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Nickname Change, (3) Kick]

 

  1. It is forbidden to lower the reputation of ZA EMPIRE by saying hateful things about the server, resources used or the administration team.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 30 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to use third party applications that may give you an unfair advantage (such as: Cheats or Scripts).
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 60 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to constantly spam the voice chat.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 30 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to insult parents or other relatives.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 120 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to blackmail or threat other players when there is a disagreement.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 60 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to discriminate other players because of their race, nationality, or culture. It is also forbidden to promote drugs or other harmful substances.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 60 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is generally allowed to use “bad language”; however, this is controlled by active administrators, and should be contained within reason.

  1. It is forbidden to rudely insult other players.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) 60 Minutes Mute]

 

  1. It is forbidden to change your nickname to another player’s name or clan tag. It is also forbidden to add offensive words or phrases for your nickname.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Change Nickname/Clan Tag, (3) Kick]

 

  1. Attempts of exploits on the server or third-party software that can harm/damage the server are strongly forbidden.
    [Action: Permanent Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to share knowledge about map or server bugs with other players.
    [Action: (1) Warning by Slay, (2) 60 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. Identity theft is highly and strongly forbidden.
    [Action: Permanent Ban]

 

  1. F.A.O. VIP Players: It is forbidden to “explode” or “detonate” at the end of a round to kill other team players.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 10 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to block; (a) pathways, (b) elevators, (c) doors, (d) any other kind of entrance.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 10 Minutes Ban]

 

  1. It is forbidden to purposefully throw items into a crowd of zombies or push zombies towards “human” players using items.
    [Action: (1) Warning, (2) Kick, (3) 60 Minutes Ban]

     

 

Additional Details:

In the case of repeated violation of one or more rule(s), the term of punishment will increase.

 

 

The following actions will be taken when a player violates the rules:

  • Warning
  • Kick
  • Ban

 

For serious violations the following actions will be taken:

  • Identity Theft: Permanent Ban

 

 

 

Rules and Duties of the Administration Team:

  1. It is forbidden when punishing to use the incorrect time for Mute, Gag, or Ban. In addition, banning a player for personal reasons it is forbidden. All punishments should be followed as per the rules stated above.

 

  1. It is forbidden to use administrator commands which violate the gameplay of a particular game mode instead of improving it.

 

  1. It is forbidden to use administrator commands for personal use/interests (e.g., to offer yourself an unfair advantage).

 

  1. It is forbidden to use admin commands on another player for personal reasons/interests.

 

  1. It is forbidden to remove or amend a punishment which a higher ranked administrator has actioned.

 

  1. It is forbidden to punish players who have not violated any of the rules stated above.

 

  1. It is forbidden to use the “slap” command to help yourself or another player climb somewhere or generally interfere with the game process.

 

  1. It is forbidden to change the map when:
    1. Less than 2 rounds have been played on the current map.
    2. The map is changed for personal reasons.
    3. There has not been a vote for players to decide if they wish to change or     extend. (Other administrators are not allowed to cancel the vote).

 

 

The following actions will be taken when an administrator violates the rules:

  • Freeze admin panel for 2 hours.
  • Freeze admin panel for 5 hours.
  • Freeze admin panel for 10 hours.

 

 

BAN APPEALS

How a player can write and apply for a ban appeal:

  1. Your nickname.

 

  1. Date and time of punishment.

 

  1. Steam ID Number.

 

  1. Reason.

 

  1. Nickname of the administrator that actioned the punishment.

 

  1. Demo/Screenshot.

 

What happens next:

The administration council will carefully and thoroughly review your ban appeal application and will then decide if your punishment should be removed or not.

If you have been banned by the server automatically, the application will be immediately declined, and your punishment will not be removed.

 

 

COMPLAINTS APPLICATION

How a player can complete a complaints application for another player or administrator:

  1. Nickname of the player or administrator.

 

  1. Date and time.

 

  1. Reason of complaint.

 

  1. Explain in detail what happened.

 

  1. Demo/Screenshot.

 

Things to consider when completing a complaints application:

Your application will be ignored if there is no demo or screenshot to back up your claims.

 

 

 

GET OUT OF A PUNISHMENT

How to get out of a punishment without waiting for the term that was defined:

You can simply remove your punishment by making a voluntary donation to the server of $4.00 through either PayPal or YooMoney.

To apply for punishment removal after donating the amount, you also need to include the following details about your in-game profile.

  1. Your nickname

 

  1. Steam ID Number.

 

  1. Proof of payment.

Please note that if the violation was repeated, your punishment will not be removed even after the donation has been made.

 

 

ADMINISTRATOR GUIDE

  1. When kicking or banning a player for the first time after a violation of the rules, you must state the reason clearly in either English or Russian, depending on which language the player uses.

 

  1. If intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or other subsenses, you must not use your administrator privileges under any circumstances. This is to protect the player-base as well as provide a well progression of the gameplay.

 

  1. If there is a violation that is not related to your duties, you must not take action.

 

  1. When you are actively participating on the server, you must not ignore a request if there are several players insisting.
